07 Aug Why is 2012 Important? The Dawning of Aquarius
Its the end of the world as we know it but with less CGI

The hippies been singing about it since the 60’s but so many people are still asking me what 2012 is all about so here we go..
On December 21 2012 The Mayan Calendar comes to an end and astrologically we move into the Age of Aquarius.
Many people are talking about is as being the end of days, it is the end of the world as we know it but that’s not the end of the world. You may not believe in any of this stuff but most of us are aware that something is happening in “the field”. As Yoda would say, we can “feel a great disturbance in the force”.
This year feels hard and from my work I know I’m not the only one. Time is flying by so fast, everything is an effort, and many people are experiencing difficulties such as relationship break ups and redundancies that are unexpected. I know this is a common theme in life but there is an abundance of it this year.
I’m not an astrology expert so the following blog is basically a selection of my views and my tips to get you through the next few months.
The age of Pisces has been going on for thousands of years. It is typified by being the age of greed, consumerism, corruption, war and being ruled by the masculine principle.
The Aquarian age will be ruled by the feminine, its a time of community, compassion and partnerships, mostly its about getting back to love and remembering our “oneness”.
Essentially what it means is that the energy of our planet is changing we are staring to vibrate at a higher frequency. Many people say we are moving (or ascending) into the 4th dimension. So if you are a higher vibrational being and your partner isn’t then no wonder that relationship won’t work long term or if that job wasn’t serving you or humanity of course you couldn’t stay in it.
This year and the run up to it has brought many many huge changes for humanity:
We’ve discovered Higgs Boson, we’ve had banking disasters, government collapses, world recessions, the list is endless and all of it is providing a shake up in our belief of what is real and who to trust.
A huge example of this is that Bolivia have banned the sale of Coca Cola from 21/12/12 to coincide with end of Mayan calendar. They managed to ditch McDonalds a year ago and are trying to get rid of the beverage giants as they hold so much control over governments and cultural identity.
Yogi Bhajan knew it would be a hugely tough and stressful transition and he brought Kundalini Yoga to the West specifically to strengthen our nervous and glandular system for this “Ascension”.
According to Diana Cooper the energy system of the planet is changing and the chakras of the planet will in the following locations;
Base chakra: Gobi Desert, China
Sacral chakra: Honolulu
Solar Plexus chakra: South Africa
Heart chakra: Glastonbury, UK
Throat chakra: Luxor, Egypt
3rd Eye chakra: Afghanistan
Crown chakra: Machu Picchu, Peru
This means that our “sacred sites” will shift and we will feel more drawn to these places. Go to them if you can it will help you stay grounded.
Make sure you are balanced nutritionally. Eat a balanced diet full of fresh live food and supplement with nervous system supporters such as Nutricalm.

Try having treatments to bring you into alignment with your path such as Theta Healing, Reiki and Crystal Therapy.
Engage with Yoga and Meditation as often as you can and come back to yourself.
Surrender and trust that we chose to be here now to help humanity shift. We need this energy shift now more than ever and humanity is in the process of changing from being “homo sapiens” to “homo luminesce” i.e. we will be light beings and light workers, here to heal humanity and the planet.
So fasten your seat belts people, we have four more months of turbulence, it will take some time for the dust to settle but the outlook is for a bright sunny change for humanity. It will take a few years to sort itself out but keep the faith that we will come out of this more luminous and compassionate and remember that the only things that will leave your life won’t be serving you in the bigger picture. This is the trust bit. It will make sense in time.
